For lunch, explore the many cafes and restaurants in our towns, villages, and local wineries. Several wineries in the Waipara region offer delicious weekend lunches ranging from tapas to award winning cuisine.  We can tell you about our current favourites if you contact us.

Local Options for Dinner
For dinner, planning ahead is essential. You might consider dining with us—just let us know in advance. Nearby, the Greta Valley Tavern offers meals throughout the week. The hidden gem D.O.T.I. Eatery and Bar, is in Amberley, only 25 minutes away. And you are sure to enjoy a pizza and assortment of brews at the award-winning Brew Moon Brewing Company.

Dinner at Tipapa Estate – Notice Preferred
Stewart is a talented home cook, and Jane bakes delicious cakes and desserts, often featuring our home-grown fruit. We can provide lunch or dinner upon request.

If you’d like to join us for dinner, please give us at least one week’s notice. We serve family-style meals, dining with us or other guests. Stewart’s “Chef’s choice” features something delicious and seasonal. Family meals are either 2-courses (entrée-main or main-dessert) for $75 per person or 3-courses (entrée-main-dessert) for $90 per person. Please inform us of any dietary requirements or allergies.

For a private dining experience in the homestead, on the terrace, or as a picnic, please give us notice. Special request meal costs vary based on seasonal availability.

Wine Options
We offer a range of wines by the glass or bottle, or you may bring your own with no corkage fee.

Indicative Menu Items
Our menu items may include the following, subject to prior notification and seasonal variations. Insufficient notice may further restrict the menu due to availability.

  1. Platter: Local cured meats, cheeses, dried fruit, quince paste, bread or crackers, etc.
  2. Family Meals:
    • Daily roast: lamb, chicken, or beef with a selection of roast vegetables
    • Malaysian-style ginger fish with rice
    • Sri Lankan-style chicken or vegetable curry with rice and poppadum
    • Tandoori chicken or lamb with rice, mint yogurt, and poppadum
    • House steak with salad or vegetables
    • Crumbed pork chops with mash, vegetables, homemade apple sauce, and gravy
  3. Lighter Choices or Meals to Share with Friends:
    • Platters of Vietnamese-style cold rice paper rolls with homemade pickles and peanut dipping sauce
    • Homemade sourdough pizza with seasonal toppings
    • Homestead soup and sourdough toast
    • Caesar salad
  4. Desserts: Seasonal and homemade, including Jane’s famous carrot cake, fresh fruit pavlova with coconut cream, upside-down pear cake, or fruit crumbles with cream or ice cream (Jane is currently making her own ice creams—yum!).
