Booking & Accommodation Information
Tipapa Estate is a heritage homestead and all guest accommodation is located upstairs.
Due to the original character and stair access of the property, Tipapa Estate is not suitable for guests who have mobility limitations or who may have difficulty using stairs.
By booking accommodation, guests acknowledge and accept these limitations.
Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in: Between 3:00pm and 7:00pmunless otherwise confirmed
Check-out: By 10:00am
Early check-in and late check-out may be available by prior arrangement and subject to room servicing schedules.
If you arrive earlier than check-in time, we can store luggage until your room is ready.
Please advise if you will arrive after 7pm.
Cancellation Policy
We are a small family-operated property and cancellations can significantly affect our business.
Cancellation terms:
- Cancellations made more than 14 days before arrival: full refund
- Cancellations made 7–14 days before arrival: 50% of booking total may be charged
- Cancellations within 7 days of arrival: full booking amount may be charged unless the room is rebooked
- No-shows or early departures are non-refundable
We strongly recommend travel insurance.
Payment Terms
We accept payment by direct bank transfer.
We accept Visa and Mastercard.Please note a 3% surcharge applies to credit card payments.
A 6% surcharge applies to payments by American Express (Amex).
Additional charges incurred during your stay must be settled before departure.
Pets
Our friendly dogs Ruby and Sapphire live in our home and have free run outside.
Provided you arrive at or near your stated time of arrival Ruby and Sapphire will be under our control when you arrive. We will supervise their greeting of all new guests.
Well-behaved dogs are accepted with prior notice.
Guests travelling with dogsaccept that they are bringing their dogs into an environment where two dogs already live. Guests with dogs are responsible for:
- Supervision and control of dogs
- Cleaning up after dogs
- Any damage caused by their pets
Dogs are not permitted on furniture or beds.
As a farm we may be able to accommodate other animals by arrangement, however cats are not permitted.
Smoking Policy
Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside all buildings.
Additional cleaning charges apply if this policy is breached.
Farm & Property Safety
Guests acknowledge that Tipapa Estate is a working rural property.
Guests must:
- Follow all safety instructions
- Avoid livestock paddocks
- Supervise children carefully
- Exercise caution around farm equipment, waterways and uneven ground
Liability
While we take every reasonable precaution for guest safety and comfort, Tipapa Estate accepts no responsibility for:
- Loss or damage to personal belongings
- Injury arising from failure to follow safety instructions
- Events outside our reasonable control
Respect for our Property
We ask guests to respect the heritage nature of our home, furnishings and grounds.
Guests may be charged for damage beyond normal wear and tear.
Quiet Enjoyment
To ensure all guests enjoy a peaceful stay, we ask that noise be kept to a reasonable level, particularly after 10:00pm.
